CONCEPT
BARNSTORMER
The predecessor of BARNSTORMER was established in 1977. At a time when the Ivy League was in its heyday and there were not yet many retailers, Barnstormer was born as a casual manufacturer with a focus on creating the same look and feel as American-made products in Japan.
It caught fire in the 80s and 90s, and is known as “Barnstormer of pants” as one of the first three full-fledged Japanese traditional makers in Japan.

A reproduction of the chinocloth of the 1950s. The best left twill chinocloth is a model for all seasons with a moderate fabric thickness, which was perfected through repeated prototyping with different batches.

The shape is tapered for a beautiful silhouette that sticks to the lines. The traditional biostone treatment is applied, and the more you wear them, the more you can enjoy the aging process.

These can be worn with sneakers for a casual style or with leather shoes for a traditional style, regardless of your age or style.







The sewing is in the tailor's slacks specification, and there is detailed handwork throughout.
Barnstormer chinos were worn by officers, and are made with many curves and seam allowances, the same as slacks sewn and tailored by a tailor, so they are roomy but look beautiful along the body.
Also, by keeping the stitching to a minimum, they have a beautiful, elegant, and old-fashioned tasteful atmosphere.











There is a “tongue” with an inside button on the inside of the zipper.
This detail improves the fit of the waist of slacks and dress pants.




Buttons are original marbleized buttons. It is a tightly sewn cross-hanging.

Gusseted crotch.


Reinforcement cloth is applied to the cross section of the inseam, and the pockets are reinforced at the bottom, where they are prone to tearing under load.
The marbelts (lining of the waist) are made with a special core that is stiffer than usual, preventing them from losing their shape.


Triangular gussets are attached at the crotch and waist. This is a small step taken by the tailor to adjust the width of the garment.






The seam allowance of the inner thigh is asymmetrical: 1 cm in the front and 2 cm in the back.
This is a detail because individual differences appear in the back due to the structure of the human body. This fine detailing gives the garment a beautiful silhouette.

BARNSTORMER（バーンストーマ―）よりノータックチノパンツのご紹介です。

50年代のチノクロスを再現。打ち込みを変えながら試作を繰り返し完成させた最高の左綾チノクロスは程よい生地厚のオールシーズン対応モデルとなっています。

形はテーパードを効かせて、ラインにこだわった美しいシルエット。昔ながらのバイオストーン加工を施し、穿きこむ程に経年変化をお楽しみ頂けます。

スニーカーと合わせてカジュアルなスタイルや革靴と合わせトラッドスタイルにと、年齢やスタイルに囚われずお使い頂ける一本となっています。







縫製は仕立て屋のスラックス仕様になっており、細かな手作業が随所にあります。
バーンストーマーのチノパンは士官が着用していたものでスラックス縫製、仕立屋と同じで縫い代が多くカーブで作られている、そのためゆとりはあるが体に沿って美しくみえます。
また最低限のステッチに抑えることで、綺麗で上品な雰囲気と昔ながらの味のある雰囲気に仕上がっています。








スッキリとしたノータックのフロント。


ファスナーの内側には内掛けのボタンが付いた『テング』がございます。
スラックスやドレスパンツのウエストのフィット感を向上させるディティールです。




フロントはジッパーフライ。『UNIVERSAL』ジッパーを使用。


ボタンはオリジナルのマーブル調ボタン。しっかりと縫われたクロス掛けです。


股部分はガゼットの仕様。


股下の十字部分まで補強の布を施し、ポケットは負荷がかかり破れやすい底に補強を施しています。
また、マーベルト(腰裏)は専用の通常より堅い芯を使い、型崩れを防いでいます。

股と腰には三角マチが付きます。これは仕立て屋が幅合わせのために行うひと手間です。


両玉縁のポケット。

内股の縫い代は前が1cm、後ろが2cmと左右非対称。
これは人間の体の構造上、個体差は後ろに出てくる為のディティール。このような細かいディティールが美しいシルエットを実現しています。
