Bark outsiders” is a brand created by an outside individual who loves authentic, vintage, and traditional items, and is aimed at outside people who want to select each item with care. That is “Bark outsiders”.
"OLD CARRY TOTE " Vachetta bourdeax"
This vintage-inspired tote bag was made by sampling a leather tote that was released by an outdoor brand in the 1980s!

The handles are short, and of course, you can use it as a hand-held bag, but the classic look is a form unique to the era, and it has become a universal design that is still loved by people today.

The Tote is a universal design that is still loved today. The concept is to reproduce this Tote through the filter of Bark Outsiders, and the item is made with attention to material, size, and detailing.
The Bacchetta leather used here is Italian vegetable tanned rubbed leather for both the body and the handle.
The natural texture of the rubbed leather and the oil content in the leather makes it moist, and the color gets darker and shinier little by little.

The handles are sewn together and polished to give them a beautifully soft touch.

The size was designed to be balanced and easy for everyday use, as we were concerned that some real vintage items were too big or too small.

Also, a rough tote with no dividers makes it difficult to get your wallet or phone in and out, so we added a divider pocket inside.
The paraffin canvas fabric and cedar twill tape are details that bring out the texture.

【OLD CARRY TOTE】
"オールドスタイルを創るトート"

80年代のアウトドアブランドでリリースされていた、レザートートをサンプリングして製作したヴィンテージ感漂うTOTE BAGになります！

ハンドル部分が短くもちろん手持ちでお使い頂く形ですが、そのクラシックな表情は年代特有のフォルムで、今も愛される普遍的なデザインとなっています。

このTOTEをバークアウトサイダーズのフィルターで再現するならというコンセプトで・素材 ・サイズ ・ディテールに拘ったアイテムになっています。
こちらのバッケッタレザーはBODY、ハンドル部分共にイタリアのベジタブルタンニン鞣しの揉み革を使用しております。
揉み革は自然なシボ感と染み込んでいるオイル分によってしっとりと、そして少しづつ色が濃くなりツヤが出てきます。

ハンドルは縫い合わせ、コバを磨くことで、美しくソフトな手触りになっております。

サイズは本物のヴィンテージの物だと大きかったり、小さかったりするのが気になっていたので、普段使いやすいバランスに整えて設計しています。

また、仕切りのないざっくりしたTOTEだと財布やスマホを出し入れしにくいので、内側に仕分けポケットを付けています。
パラフィンキャンバスの生地や杉綾テープなど風合いを生かしたディテールが特徴です。
